What is the Well Done Life & Legacy Vault?

The Well Done Life & Legacy Vault, powered by My Life & Wishesoffers a seamless method to securely document all essential details your loved ones might require in unforeseen circumstances. You retain full control over the type and extent of information shared, as well as who can access it and when. With around-the-clock availability, you can effortlessly add, revise, or delete information from any location with an internet connection.

Who needs a vault account?

A vault account is essential for everyone, irrespective of age, marital status, health, or possessions. Efficiently organizing your household and account information will significantly simplify matters for your loved ones.

I have a will. Do I still need a vault account?

Absolutely, possessing a will is crucial, yet it doesn't encompass all the essential details your loved ones require.

A vault account seamlessly complements your last will and testament by offering comprehensive account information, online access, critical contacts, beneficiary details, digital assets, social media, and more.

How much does a vault account cost?

  • A quarterly plan costs $35 every 90 days

  • An annual plan costs $129 every 365 days

  • A lifetime plan costs $500 one-time

  • You may try the plan for free for 30 days.

What happens at the end of the 30-day trial?

  • You will receive an email notification as the end of the 30-day trial nears. You may subscribe to a paid membership anytime during the 30 days.

  • If you do not subscribe, you will have a 90-day grace period to continue to view any information you may have entered into your site and to upgrade to a paid membership.  At the end of 90 days, any information you have entered will be permanently deleted.

  • To subscribe, submit a request form here, and you will receive instructions on how to upgrade your account. Please indicate that you are upgrading from a trial account.

I’ve created an account, how do I get started?

The legacy vault was built with simplicity in mind; however, we know that getting started can be overwhelming. We suggest starting with one section that you feel most comfortable with. Try completing one section at a time. You can return to any section anytime to make changes or add information.

Can I save copies of my existing documents in my vault account?

Certainly. You have the option to upload copies of your will, trust, financial statements, life insurance policies, power of attorney, and any other desired documents. Rest assured, your documents are stored securely and confidentially. Only individuals authorized by you will have access to view these documents.

Can I share my vault account?

  • Indeed. Every vault account is structured for a primary account holder and an account co-owner. The primary and co-owner can access, input, and modify the information within the account. Furthermore, account owners can assign authorized users and define specific permissions for each authorized user.

What is an authorized user?

  • An authorized user is an individual you select to access specific sections of your vault account. You have the freedom to designate multiple authorized users according to your preferences.

  • You have full control over the sections each authorized user can access and their access level – whether it's "view only" or "editing" capability.

  • Upon assigning an authorized user, you have the option to send them an email notification regarding their new access or personally inform them if you choose not to send an email.

  • Once an authorized user logs into your vaykt account, you'll receive an email notification, and the authorized user will also be informed that you (the account owner) have been notified via email.

  • You retain the ability to add, remove, or adjust permissions for authorized users at your convenience.

How do I add an authorized user? 

  1. Log into your vault account and click on Authorized Users from the menu on the left.

  2. Provide a first name, last name, and email address.

  3. Choose when you want this authorized user to access your account

  4. Select Yes or No for each section to set if that authorized user can "view only" or "edit" that section.

  5. Choose when the authorized user should be notified that you have set them up as an authorized user for your vault account.

  6. Click the Add authorized user button.

When you add an authorized user, that person will receive an email message to set up an account password that will grant access to the section of your account you have authorized.

How do I change or remove an authorized user?

You may change, add, or remove authorized users at any time. To change the settings or remove an authorized user:

  1. Log into your vault account and click on Authorized Users from the menu on the left.

  2. Click the Configure button next to the user in the Your Authorized Users list.

  3. Make your changes and click the Update authorized user button, or

  4. Click the Delete authorized user button.

Can I include health care directives?

Certainly. Your account can incorporate healthcare directives, and you're welcome to upload copies of any relevant documents you've compiled.

It's essential to recognize that the legacy vault is not a legal service. To ensure the proper preparation of legally binding documents, such as working with an attorney and physician, is advised. Legal regulations for these documents are based on your primary residence's jurisdiction.

Rest assured, your My Life & Wishes account serves as a secure repository for your critical documents.

Who can view the information in a vau account?

  • You, your co-owner, and your authorized users can view your legacy vault information.

  • To ensure your information is safe, there are multiple levels of security to prevent anyone else from viewing your information, including Well Done Collaborative employees.

How secure is a legacy vault account?

  • We use multiple levels of rigorous encryption and perform regular audits to protect your account information. Only you and your authorized users can see account information.

  • Any authorized users you add to your account are also encrypted separately, adding a unique security layer to each unique person who logs into the legacy vault.

  • Requires SSL using 2048-bit certificates that protects your data.

How do I log into my account?

  1. You can access the login from our website https://www.welldonecollab.com or directly at https://welldonecollab.mylifeandwishes.com

  2. Enter your email and password.

  3. Click the Sign In button.

What if I forget my username and/or password?

  1. Click the Forgot your password? link on the login screen.

  2. Enter your email address

  3. Click the Reset my password button

​You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel at any time. You will continue to enjoy access to your legacy vault until the end of your subscription period; no refunds are provided for partial period cancellations. Once canceled, your account will continue to be available for 90 days. At the end of 90 days, any information you have entered will be permanently deleted.

How do I close my account?

  • 1. Log into your account at https://welldonecollab.mylifeandwishes.com
    2. Click Account Settings from the menu (it is located below Veteran’s Benefits)
    3. Click Close Account

  • Your login will stay active for 90 days. You may log in and review your data during that time, but you may no longer add information or make any changes.

  • After 90 days, your account and your data will be permanently deleted. To restore full account access within the 90-day grace period, you will need to resubscribe to the service by contacting vault@welldonecollab.com

How do my loved ones access my account after my death?

  • Upon enrolling in a paid legacy vault account, you can choose to designate your authorized users.

  • As a security measure, the primary account holder receives notifications whenever authorized users access the account. This precaution empowers you to take action in case of unauthorized access attempts, allowing you to secure your account promptly.
